Description Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein (MOG) Antibody-Associated Disease (MOGAD) is an idiopathic inflammatory demyelinating disease that is similar but distinct from multiple sclerosis (MS) and neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD). Since July 2017, MOGAD diagnosis in Alberta has been increasing due to the availability of cellbased assay for detection of MOG antibodies. However, the route of entry by MOGAD patients into the healthcare system, their demographics, common presentations, and management remain unknown. Hence, we sought to better characterize the current state of detection and management of MOGAD in Alberta.
