Description Cavernous sinus dural arteriovenous fistulas (CS-dAVF) may present with nonspecific symptoms such as headache and pulsatile tinnitus and commonly arise from dural branches of the internal (ICA) and external carotid arteries (ECA). Endovascular therapy consists of transarterial or transvenous embolization (TVE). Given the risk of complications, including cranial nerve palsies and hemorrhage, TVE of CS-dAVF is only performed in symptomatic patients. We describe a patient with a CS-dAVF presenting initially as an allergic conjunctivitis mimic.
