Description |
Carcinoma rarely metastasizes to the eye. Metastases to the optic nerve (ON) are even scarcer, with breast, followed by lung, being the most common primary sites[1-4]. Lung cancer more frequently metastasizes to the brain, with meningiomas being the most common host tumor due to their slow growth, good vascularity, elevated lipid content, and high general incidence[5-8]. We present a unique case of squamous cell lung carcinoma (SCC) metastasizing to an ON sheath meningioma (ONSM). |
