Description Cotton-wool spots (CWS) in pregnancy can be due to preeclampsia, hypercoagulability secondary to pregnancy, and systemic infections.1-5 These serious conditions contrast with two pregnant patients who developed CWS without obvious etiology, both of whom followed a benign course with spontaneous resolution.
