Description A forty-eight year old retired Air Force sergeant complained of a viral-like illness for approximately three weeks. During that time he had intermittent double vision and slight nausea. Two weeks prior to being evaluated he developed dysphagia and dysarthria. He was evaluated and found to have a large blue tongue that was weak and relatively immobile. Five days prior to being evaluated he found that he could not see to his right. This became evident when he noted that he could not shave on his right side.
