Description |
Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) has a highly variable clinical presentation and outcome, making the management and follow-up of an individual patient a challenge for both neurologists and ophthalmologists. Because a number of patients irreversibly lose vision or have a chronic disease with reduced quality of life, the term 'benign intracranial hypertension' is not used anymore. |
