Description Cerebrospinal fluid pressure dynamics were assessed in eight patients with pseudotumorcerebri, seven women and one man. Six were newly diagnosed and two had disease of several years duration. Each had bilateral papilledema, normal neurologic examination and cerebrospinal fluid of normal content. A strain gauge pressure transducer documented elevated opening pressure by lumbar puncture.
