Description Susac syndrome is a rare microangiopathy of the brain, retina and cochlea originally described in 1979. The most frequent reported ophthalmologic manifestation of the disease is branch retinal artery occlusion. Of the 50 cases reported in the literature, only ten patients had FA done. To date, FA has never been considered an important diagnostic tool for this disease. We did a retrospective study to assess the utility of FA in the diagnosis of Susac syndrome.
