Subject blepharospasm; dry eye; Meige syndrome; ocular symptoms
Description Symptoms of eye irritation have been found to occur at the onset of blepharospasm (BSP) in 40 to 60% of patients. It is currently thought that these symptoms may act as a trigger in the development of the syndrome. To determine if we can confirm the existence of a correlation between eye symptoms and the occurrence of BSP or Meige syndrome, we undertook a preliminary prospective study.
