Title Comparison of Humphrey Perimetry and Second-Generation Humphrey Matrix FDT in the Evaluation of Post-Chiasmal Visual Field Defects
Creator Shelley Day; Jenny Hong; Thomas Hwang; Timothy McCulley
Affiliation UCSF, San Francisco, CA
Subject FDT; Post-chiasmal Visual Field Defects
Description Previous studies have shown a lack of correlation between frequency doubling technology (FDT) and standard perimetry in post-chiasmal defects. (1) This was felt to relate to the large stimulus size (10 degrees) extending beyond affected areas or alternatively to varying effects of visual pathway injuries on detection of differing stimuli.
