Description Pseudotumor cerebri (PTC) is a disorder of unknown etiology which results in elevated intracranial pressure (ICP). The optic disc is basically exposed to 2 pressurized compartments, the intraocular space and the subarachnoid space, which are separated by the lamina cribosa.
