Description Levator muscle strength is currently inferred from eyelid excursion, commonly referred to as levator function (LF). However, eyelid excursion is influenced by a number of factors, highly variable, and a very imprecise measure of muscle strength. In this pilot study, we investigated the use of graded eyelid weights as an objective measure of levator muscle strength.
