Description Neuromyelitis optica (NMO) is an autoimmune inflammatory disease of the central nervous system. Variable clinical manifestations exist, leading to the development of NMO spectrum disorders. Relapsing NMO often leads to severe neurological deficits, including vision impairment. Patient reported outcomes (PRO) are increasingly used in clinics and clinical trials. These are subjective measures that provide insight into patients' quality of life and perceived functional status. The aim of this study was to correlate blindness in patients with NMO with PRO, demographics, and performance testing (PT).
