C-SCAT: Computer Symptom Capture Tool Trailer Video
Description
C-SCAT is a web app for the St. Baldrick's Foundation aimed at easy gathering of symptoms for adolescent cancer patients. Users are able to diagram symptoms they've been experiencing recently in helpful and meaningful way for doctors and nurses, as well as answer basic questions about these symptoms. Users can connect symptoms that are related to one another or cause one another, as well as draw groups around symptoms that occur at the same time. The symptoms include "Feeling Bloated", "Mouth Sores", "Difficulty Sleeping", "Difficulty Concentrating", "Diarrhea", etc. C-SCAT is built for the web at c-scat.herokuapp.com and works across Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, and Chrome, as well as iPads. C-SCAT is based on a previous web app and has been modified and updated by Ryan Kirschman in association with the GAPP Lab, EAE, and the University of Utah.
