Indians and Papooses

There is a sun shade near the top of each cradleboard, which is held in place by a wooden circle. The child on the left is wrapped in a light colored blanket, and is secured into the cradleboard with string. The baby on the left is wrapped in a dark colored blanket, and is also secured into the cradleboard with string. Both women are standing under a tree, near a white wooden fence. In front of them and to the right is a brick building. There appears to be a stand or cart in front of the store. There are also several children playing in front of the women, one is to the left in the far distance. The other is in overalls and a white shirt, and he is near the brick building.
