Description The building was dedicated on September 19, 1965 and was the third location for First Congregational Church. The architectural firm of Edwards and Daniels, AIA, completed the plans for the building. The Cannon Construction Company worked with the architects to complete the building within the budget. Dr. Frank W. Asper, Mus.D. played the organ in the new church in the first organ concert held in the building. The organ, a Farrand & Votey pipe organ, had been carefully transported by members of the congregation from its previous location on First South and Fourth East to the new building at 2150 South Foothill Drive. In 2020, the congregation (which dates from 1965) voted to sell the building, and in 2022, they moved to new quarters at 1710 South Foothill Drive. The 1965 building (as of 2025) awaits demolition.
