Address: 155 North Street, Ogden, UT. South side, just east of Wall Ave. A local temple of the Buddhist Churches of America (based in San Francisco, CA), representing the Jodo Shinshu (True Pure Land) sect based in Kyoto, Japan. The first temple was established around 1900 in downtown's Japantown on 24th Street, and a later temple at 2452 Lincoln Avenue was used from the 1930s to 1964, when the present campus was built. |
