Description |
Address: 225 East 100 South, Salt Lake City. Cornerstone laid in 1870, first services in basement in 1871, and consecrated in 1874, with additions through 1902. A fire in 1935 gutted the sanctuary, but the church was rebuilt following the original design. design. Another remodel occurred in 2010-2011. This photo shows the small chapel to the left of the apse, formerly the site of the church organ. The small Mirrlees organ seen here dates from 1854 but was given to the cathedral in 1984, and is used for special services held in the chapel. |
