Due to his busy schedule and dividing his time between residences in Salt Lake City and San Francisco, Mr. Eccles declined many more invitations than he accepted. Correspondents included Andrew Heiskell, chairman of the American Council to Improve Our Neighborhoods (ACTION); Lewis Galantière of the American Civil Liberties Union; and Donald K. David, Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development. |
