Subjects discussed include the Vietnam War, President Richard Nixon, and the early energy crisis. Includes a copy of a "Special report: the scramble for resources," printed in Business Week, June 30, 1973; and a copy of Coffin's newsletter, Washington Watch, from Oct. 15, 1973. The latter included statements about energy resources and environmental concerns in the early days of the Arab oil embargo and prompted some disagreement on Mr. Eccles's part in a subsequent letter. |
