The letters, all from 1971, are primarily requests for copies and comments on its contents as well as Mr. Eccles's replies. Correspondents included Irving Ershler, adjunct associate professor at the University of Utah Medical Center; and Oklahoma City attorney Wayne Quinlan. Includes a transcript of an extemporaneous speech about U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War by Tom Wicker delivered 22 February 1971, published in the New Yorker magazine. |
