Typescript copy (probably by George S. Tanner) from the journal of John W. Tate, covering his journey from Tooele, Utah, via Saint George, to northern Arizona in 1880 and 1881. He was called to settle at Saint Johns. He describes the Mormon settlements of Woodruff, St. Johns, and Sunset. He ultimately decided to return to northern Utah. |
