| Abstract |
During the past ten years, the Dow Chemical Co. has been involved with the design, installation, and operation of four large multipoint ground flares. The first one has been in service for over eight years, and the other three have come into service within the past two years. As one might expect with equipment this large and complicated, the facilities have seen various issues / problems.
