Description |
Oppenheim spread 1,000 pounds of salt in a rectangle on an asphalt surface. Identical dimensions were transferred in 30 x 30 x 60 cm salt lick blocks to the ocean floor off the Bahama coast. Identical dimensions were excavated to a depth of 30 cm in the Salt Lake Desert, UT. Documentation of these events in the form of photographs and maps were exhibited in the gallery. |
