Description |
County and City officials from Summit, Wasatch, Duchesne, and Uintah Counties stand at the turn-off that will take traffic from Salt Lake City to the Uinta Basin. Motorists will soon be using this new alignment from Wasatch-Summit County Line to Silver Creek Junction. The improvement was 2.6 miles between Silver Creek Junction and Kimball Junction. The straight new read eliminates sharp curves and steep grades, Contractor for the road work was Strong Company out of Springville, Utah. Another 3.5 section of U.S. 40 south from Summit-Wasatch County lis is also under construction by the same company. |
