| Description |
Whiterocks Fish Hatchery was built in 1922 witht he help of the Vernal Gun and Rifle Club. Fish and Game Commissioner D. H. Madsen was presuaded by the club that a need for a hatchery existed in the Uinta Basin. Construction took six weeks. Included in the carpenter crews Frank Hatch, Ed Oaks and Bus Hatch. This 1922 photo was featured in the Vernal Express on February 1, 1968. |
