| Description |
Mayor Henry Millecam, center, with shovel, breaks ground for the Asher (Merkley) Acres subdivision. Built-Rite Construction Company planned to build forty homes in this area to relieve a housing shortage in Vernal. Accompanying the mayor are representatives of civic clubs, and business firms, county commissioners and the city council. They include: Nick Meagher, Frank Long, Ray Cundick, Clair Hopkins, J.C. Anderson, Bill Slaugh, Glenn Cooper, L.Y. Siddoway, Frank Ward, and Stewart Ashton. |
