Description Pontah and Hyrum B. Clader stated the Calder's Creamery as an ice business in 1904. They built Calder's Pond on North Vernal Avenue. In the wintes they cut the frozen ice into blocks. With the success of the ice company, they branched out into two other areas. The bottling works different flavors of soda pop was made and the creamery which produced bottled milk, cheese, butter, cottage cheese and was known to make the best ice cream in the world.
