Description |
Men from the FERA camp at Dinosaur Monument dump overburden off this hill. The overburden was removed from the quarry area. Men from a FERA camp at the monument did the labor to remove the overburden. A group of men from the CWA (Civilian Works Administration) and the FERA (Federal Emergency Relief Administration) worked and lived at the Monument under the supervision of Dr. Albert C. Boyle, geologist and custodian of the Dinosaur National Monument. |
