Description |
William Haslem, on horseback in traditional cowboy attire, on range land. William Haslem was born in 1888 in Coalville, Utah. He is the son of Sam and Margaret Haslem. The family came to the Basin when he was young had he attended the Wilcox Academy. He filled his calling to serve in WW I being one of the first ones to enlist. He moved to California, working as a police officer. In 1944 he became ill and passed away in October of stomach cancer. He is buried in Sawtelle National Cemetery in California. |
