A crowd gathered at the Jensen Bridge to witness the ribbon cutting and opening of the third bridge over the Green River in Jensen. A great celebration was enjoyed with music and activities. The American Legion, post 124, performed a gun salute. The first bridge was built in 1911 and the second in 1933. The old 1933 bridge was torn down in 1994. |
