Show DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR UNITED STATES INDIAN FIELD SERVICE Towaoc, Colorado, July 30 1923. Comissioner of Indian Affairs, Washington, D.C. Sir: Herewith I submit for official approval applications for certificate for twenty-three Indians. All are unallotted and full-bloods. Jane Begodie is a Ute that was sold to the Navajos, she has been raised by them and passes as a Navajo, Tony Bagodie is Ute- Navajo. All the others are Navajos. These Indians I believe are under the jurisdiction of the San Juan Agency. They are the Navajos referred to in Office letter o f May 3, 1923, to Superintendent Estep (Land- Allotments 35466- 23 HVC).
