Description Studio portraits (sitting) of two Native American (Muache Ute) warriors, Kwa-jo-nut and Mose. One has beads in his hair and long, fur wrapped braids. He wears a contrast beaded hair pipe breastplate with a choker collar neck detail, a deerskin tunic and leggings with broad seed bead panels down their full length. He holds a Colt revolver in his hands. The other warrior has shoulder length hair, a wide beaded hair pipe breastplate in contrasting colors layered over a tunic with beaded sleeves and fringe hanging from the shoulders. His deerskin leggings show fringe from hip to ankle. He wears moccasins and holds a blanket in his lap. A patterned rug is on the floor.
