TIMES INDEPENDENT Moab, Utah 7 January 19&5 Dynafectron Apparent Dynalectron Corp., Land Air Division, is the apparent low bidder on the test complex support contract for the Green River missile base, it was learned yesterday. Dynalectron will take over the logistic support contract when the present contractor, Bendix Field Engineering Division completes their contractual obligation January 31. Bendix was among the nine bidders for the contract that unofficial sources have identified. Dynalectron has already conferred with Utah State Employment Service personnel and will meet again with local employment service personnel to affect the transition of contractors. The new contractor - assuming that the contract signing and award is certified at higher levels - will likely utilize many of the Bendix employed personnel in maintenance and security. They began advertising for applicants in The Times-Independent with this issue asking for plant engineering and maintenance, vehicle maintenance, security, fire prevention, and propellant handling employees. Dynalectron has established a contact office at the Book Cliffs Lodge in Green River, but additional information on employment opportunities can be gained at the Moab employment office, we are informed. |
