Subject Vascular Diseases; Carotid-Cavernous Sinus Fistula; Natural History
Description The majority of patients with a dural CCF have no difference in mortality from that of the normal population, because the lesion usually affects only the eyes. Spontaneous intracranial hemorrhage is exceptionally rare. Thus, when one considers the natural history of a dural CCF, one is really considering the ocular morbidity.
