The Test Your Knowledge series are multiple choice questions intended to complement NANOS Illustrated Curriculum for Neuro-Ophthalmology. The questions in this set cover the optic tract, the region of the visual pathway found posterior to optic chiasm before the lateral geniculate bodies. Due to the decussation of optic nerve fibers, this region will produce the characteristic homonymous hemianopia. Additionally, the optic tract fibers will turn medially and influence pupillomotor light reflex. |
