Description |
Visual outcomes are reliable biomarkers of the overall multiple sclerosis (MS) disease state. Unfortunately, tertiary care facilities are usually the only places that can accurately measure afferent and efferent function because they have the tools and analytical power to do so. Even then, only a small number of centers are able to do so for both afferent and efferent dysfunction. At the moment, acute care facilities lack these measurements (ER, hospital floors). |
