Description Racial and gender diversity in leadership are important to address healthcare disparities, encourage recruitment of future physicians from groups that are currently underrepresented in medicine (URiM), and develop innovative approaches to complex problems. In this study, we aim to evaluate the demographics of neuro-ophthalmology fellowship program directors (PDs) in the United States, compared with the US population, medical students, residents, and residency program directors.
