Description Unexplained visual impairment in the elderly is challenging especially with a normal eye exam. We studied a group of patients with a normal eye exam, a CT or MRI that was not revealing and a PET-CT that clearly identified a source of the vision problem. This retrospective study aims to demonstrate the utility of PET-CT in the diagnosis of unexplained vision loss, such as in neurodegenerative diseases.
