Description Optic nerve avulsion (ONA) is a rare consequence of ocular trauma that has a poor prognosis, and the diagnosis can be clinically challenging in cases of partial avulsion. We report a case in which optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging was useful in confirming the diagnosis of traumatic partial optic nerve avulsion.
