Description Oscillopsia, an illusion of movement of the seen world, is a symptom of vestibular damage. This study examines the course of oscillopsia over time in patients with aminoglycoside ototoxicity as correlated with formal vestibular testing. The study population consisred of25 patients with a known history of aminoglycoside therapy who demonstrated bilateral vestibular paresis at initial vestibular laboratory evaluation, and a decreased Snellen visual acuity of two or more lines with head shaking (indicative of an abnormal VOR gain).
