Title Neuro-Ophthalmic Anatomy in Stereo: A Self-Study Program
Creator Halpern, Jesse; Forman, Scott
Subject Stereoscopic imaging; Stereoscopic labelling; Neuro-ophthalmic anatomy; Self help teaching program; Residency sharing program
Description Many areas of clinical concern should ideally be presented stereoscopically. Clinical anatomy would be an outstanding example. Just as the introduction of video has been a quantum jump in improving the presentation of educational materials, a stereoscopic presentation can also be such a unique improvement. Many concepts, when presented in text or two dimensional diagrams, are immediately grasped more fully when seen stereoscopically. This is readily seen when applied to gross anatomy. It is also the case when applied to gross pathologies of all sorts.
