Description |
Although the majority of patients with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) present with positive NMO or MOG antibodies (Abs), a distinct subset of patients present without positive antibody testing (1). Diagnosis in these cases requires at least two core clinical characteristics (2). We present a case of presumed bilateral neuroretinitis with delayed onset of area postrema syndrome leading to the diagnosis of NMOSD. |
