Description Third nerve palsy has many etiologies. In a patient with numerous opportunistic infections who is immunologically compromised several other etiologies needed to be considered. 30 to 50 percent of AIDS patients will have neurological manifestations with many having neurological complaints as the initial presenting sign of AIDS.
