Description Utilizing the IHI Framework for Improving Joy in Work (Perlo et al., 2017), our E50 staff have initiated a greater focus on cultivating awareness of both individual and team wide well-being. Methods: Staff participated in What Matters to You? conversations from the IHI Framework during morning and evening shift safety huddles. Feedback from the conversations most often related to the Recognition & Rewards, Wellness & Resilience, and Daily Improvement. Intervention: Two self -reflective activities were introduced to the E50 team. Participants took the SCORE II: Assessment of your work setting survey, and participated in an Assess Your Stress: Where are you on the stress continuum? activity in the staff break-room over the course of 5 weeks. Outcomes: During a recent staff meeting, a majority of E50 staff reported feelings of being In Crisis and Struggling. Conclusion: Although the team is still stressed, participants have gained a greater awareness and understanding of their well-being both as individuals and as a group. A resiliency meeting has been scheduled and offered to our staff where we can come together to reflect and acknowledge these stresses together.
