| Description |
Mildred Quinn was born in Liberty Idaho, 1908. Ms Quinn graduated from the Salt Lake County General Hospital School of Nursing in 1932. Ms Quinn received her Public Health Nursing Certificate from the University of Oregon Medical School (1942) and both her B.S. (1946) and M.S. (1950) in Nursing from the University of Utah. Ms Quinn was a staff nurse and supervisor from 1932-43 and a member of the nursing faculty at the University from 1943-73. Ms Quinn was appointed Dean of the College of Nursing in 1954 and Professor in 1958. Dean Quinn retired as Professor Emeritus in 1973. Dean Quinn died in 1989. |
