Area of Potential Effects: Because proposed improvements will be at-grade, the area of potential effects (APE) is generally limited to the areas of direct physical disturbance and potential easements, which will extend no more than 15 meters (50 feet) north or south from the existing 700 East centerline and from the centerline of the proposed route of drainage improvements. The APE also includes a block area on the northwest corner of the intersection of 700 East and Hill Street (525 North), where a potential drainage basin may be constructed. In total, the APE encompasses approximately 4.9 hectares (12 acres). |
