Verso features an illustration of a young girl holding a small bird. Caroline Elizabeth Woods Cushing Dye -- known professionally as Mrs. C. E. Dye -- operated a millinery business in Salt Lake City, Utah, from circa 1872 to 1887. Born in Cobham, England, Dye converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1852 at the age of fifteen, and emigrated to Utah in 1859. Dye was a long-time member of the Woman's Suffrage Association in Utah.
