Description |
A peaceful scene in Nine Mile today with a peacock proudly riffling his feathers in front of the old saloon. Once a scene of wild debauch, the ancient blacksmith shop next door stood watch and an ancestor of the peacock screamed in annoyance upon being disturbed by the gunfire that ended Pete Francis' life.
