| Description |
Cast iron and wrought iron medallions from the façade of the Brigham Young Trust Building in Salt Lake City. The Trust Co. was formed 1877-78 following the death of Brigham Young. The building later became the Yellowstone Hotel. They were found when the Hotel facade was removed. Oma Wilcox of Layton purchased them for $500 and donated the medallions to the Layton Historical Heritage Museum where they are now on display. Donor-- Oma Wilcox |
